Being a first-year college student has been a whole new change and scenery for me compared to high school. It came with both excitement and many new challenges I had to face like doing a lot more things on my own and managing my time compared to being in high school. The freedom and independence can be exhilarating, but it can definitely be overwhelming at times. The biggest adjustment from high school to college is academics. You have to be way more self-disciplined, have higher critical thinking, and give yourself more independent study time compared. There is a lot more pressure to succeed and opportunities to explore. Despite being a first-year college student, it’s given me more time to learn more about myself and how I can get better at certain things. So far, it’s been a journey filled with ups and downs, but it’ll be an adventure I’ll never forget.

College is the start to an amazing future ahead. Enjoy each day and remember to take what you learn with you always.
I’m just getting started 🙂
I like how disciplined you are in your first semester of college.
Thank you very much! That’s my goal through the entirety of colege.
